Recruiting for '12 and beyond

Any update on the big kid (I think his name is Obepka)? When is the signing date? If they don't get the big kid any other possibilities for this year or would they be done?

Also, any rumors on who UC is going after for '13? UC is losing Wright, and Parker, so it seems like they may need a big time PG in the pipeline.

Seems like a ton of student athletes transferring. These players won't be eligible until 2013 and their style might not fit MC's system.

I noticed 4 players from Michigan and Wisconsin alone.

Other than UCLA and Kentucky, Maryland seems to be doing well in HS recruiting and securing transfers. Pitt landed that big from New Zealand everyone is raving about. Arizona has strung two consecutive strong classes together.

I'm hearing early May when he makes a decision. Apparently it's down to St. John's and UC. There was a link on a previous blog that had the writer stating he thinks Obekpa is leaning toward UC. Who knows at this point....he has a current teammate committed to St.John's. 50/50

Per ESPN, we have offered these players for 2013.

Off Topic but Roscoe Smith is leaving UConn. I'd take him. Are they even gonna have a team next year. See ya Huskies its a long way down.
