Some people claiming the bouncer was fired.

It is amazing who quickly these things get started. Who knows if he was fired or not but it is crazy how quickly this escalted with a call to Fox.

It's already gone viral on the internet ... picked up by national media. Evidently they all think FOX19 is a good source.

But lets not throw them under the bus. If the story is that our guys were drinking and someone punched the bouncer I would expect someone to be punished. If it is Ellis or Cheik I would dimiss them.
I'm not blindly defending UC players. If they were involved, there are guilty parties everywhere.

But let's call a spade a spade, this guy sounds like an *****. Right?

I'm 99.9% positive its the same guy that's in the video. You can look up where the video was uploaded to the internet from: Ross, OH. Popluation in that city is approx. 2000. Guy in the video looks just like the guy from the channel 19 video. Gotta be him. Someone needs to link that fight video to all the comment sections regarding this. Guy is clearly a bouncer dbag.

Nevermind, found it in the updated story

"Right now we are working to gather information and facts," said Babcock. "While we certainly don't want to rush to judgment and will allow for due process, we also want to strongly emphasize that we hold all of our student-athletes to a high standard for their behavior in the community. It is a privilege to play for and represent UC, it is not a right. We have made great strides in our program and this type situation is not what UC athletics is about or will be about. As of now, to my understanding, there are no charges filed, only accusations. We will next comment after we have had time to gather facts and our process moves along or is completed. We will invoke disciplinary action if any of our student-athletes acted in an inappropriate manner."

FOX 19 needs to be held accountable by going with this story half-cocked. If there was a police report and charges filed, that would be public record. Its just not adding up.

I am surprised that the world wide leader hasn't jumped on this story.

If a guy was punched and kicked multiple times by multiple college athletes, I would imagine he'd look much worse than a black eye and bruised ear. Maybe some exageration is added for effect, but something happened to this guy. I would not be surprised either way, Bearcats or someone else.

On a separate note, isn't this establishment the same location as where Andy Kennedy had his altercation with the cab driver? If so, this place has a well deserved bad rep.

Twitter account @mclucasbrian. Not much there at all considering the events he is claiming happened.

That's because he is doing most of his crying and whining on Facebook. Before it's all said and done I guarantee it comes out he didn't tell them to stop because they were saying "racial" things to her. The cops also came and pressed no charges and he got fired for the incident. Doesn't exactly all add up with what is known right now.

Default No Names Please

If you find yourself in a situation where you get the names of the players involved before the AD or Press reports it please don't post them here. The players are students and IMO are entitled to privacy afforded any other student.

And don't guess at it either. Bouncer boy has a lousy memory and bad grammar issues so he's probably a little confused.

Updated story from Fox19.com
http://www.fox19.com/story/18405098/...to-allegations

...

PLAY night club's management did not want to (g)o on camera Monday but did confirm that UC players were in the club Saturday night. They also said that they inverviewed everyone working that night and no one said they saw the incident. But McLucas told FOX 1(9) Sunday that his general manager, Chris Wessel, was with him in the VIP area and saw what had happened.

McLucas responded to criticism he's received on social media websites. "I never expected when I came out with what happened I was going to start getting bashed from people on websites from social media that I'm not telling the truth, and I know for a fact I am," said McLucas.

...

No charges have been filed and FOX19 is not identifying the player(s) involved as not to impede the police investigation.

IMO kind of Knee jerk reaction but if that's how you feel, none of us can stop you. I Hope you reconsider for the sake of the football program and Olympic sports.
