In case, like me, you needed / want a picture of the old floor to compare the changes, below is a decent pic.

http://www.netitor.com/photos/school...al/684576.jpeg

I'm loving the changes for the most part. I'm a big fan of the two-tone flooring. The c-paw at the half court line is a nice touch.

My only complaint, which is minor, would be that both ends of the floor say Cincinnati. Even before I pulled up a pic of the old floor I thought it odd that they didn't put Bearcats at one end.

I also hope the white outlining of Cincinnati at the ends shows up better on the actual floor, which I'm confident it will.

Since I'm fully qualified to critique the changes 4.75 stars out of 5.

Thanks for the old picture...I am also a fan of the two-tone floor, especially being able to tell between 3's or not.

However, instead of "Cincinnati" then did "#Bearcats" by the benches, which will hopefully stick out.

Thanks for that. I too wanted a juxtaposition of the new versus old.

Yeah, I noticed the #Bearcats, but I just kinda gave it a "meh". It's the only thing that just felt kind of tacked on.

Is the # a twitter thing?

Bah, Twitter. When it falls into irrelevancy within 3 years it will be stuck on the court, so hopefully it is just a sticker in that case.

Those ring of red and black out shirts are already hard enough to wear in public without feeling like a hipster

The volleyball lines are tape on the floor and are not permanent

That is correct. It was moved back for the 2011-2012 season.
