Can someone name the last coach who came from college to win a championship in the NBA?
I don't know the answer but the only one I can think of is Larry Costello with Milwaukee when Oscar was there. Anybody else? Now Charlotte thinks they can do it with an assistant? Good luck |

Dunlap was also a head coach on the D2 level and was a former NBA assistant coach with the Nuggets so I don't know how well that comparison really applies to him.

Chuck Daly coached at both BC and Penn up through 1977 before moving on to the NBA, eventually winning 2 titles in 1989 and 1990 with the Pistons. However, he had a stint as an NBA assistant from 1977-80.
