is it just my advancing age, or does the sporting news article on schedules in the big east say va tech is a home game? nice research, wash dc is clearly a home game for uc.

We are the home team for sure. The game was going to be played at Nippert but VT gave us 3 million to move it. It may be still considered a home game....

i guess you can't really blame the reporter for missing the reality of that. oh well, in general the big east fball as a whole gets no respect for the most part, so this is consistent with that situation. the key is to win the game, and it will all go by the wayside. a win against va tech would be a nice quality win.

The article was really poorly written. Yes, the VT game is a "home" game which was actually moved to FedEx as a neutral site game by ESPN (not by VT, even though it is more in their back yard.) But it was a bunch of randomly assembled information about schedules, without any decent analysis or lucid conclusions.
