If this were to happen, party at my house before and after the game!

Every time we start off as Broken Compass Bowl team we wind up much better. I personally can't wait until Pitt does what Pitt teams usually do and go 6-6. Puzzling that an awful QB who returns is suddenly going to find a higher power and put everything together.

Yeah, I think the same can be said of USF. My prediction is Orlando or Charlotte for us. As long as it isn't Birmingham , I don't care too much. It's all

I like that the BE tie-ins do not feature matchups against non A-Qs anymore. It takes the stigma out of not playing in a BCS bowl, at least in terms of the 4th and 5th place bowls.

Default ESPN's Bowl Projections: Cincinnati Again?

Quote:
ESPN's Brad Edwards has the Commodores headed to back-to-back bowl games for the first time in school history, according to his projections. Mark Schlabach isn't as optimistic.

By Edwards's count, Vandy will face Cincinnati in a the BBVA Compass Bowl. That would constitute a rematch of the Bearcats' 31-24 win last January in the Liberty Bowl

WOOHOO!!! We haven't played a game and we're already moving up in the bowl projections. Trade in your Birmingham reservations for a trip to the big apple:
Quote:
Bowl projections: Pitt's loss slightly altered CBSSports.com resident BCS expert Jerry Palm's bowl projections for Week 2 of the season. In mid-August, Palm predicted the Panthers would face Kansas State in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 29.

After the upset, Pitt dropped out of Palm's updated projections. The Panthers were replaced in the Pinstripe Bowl by Cincinnati (No. 4, Big East). In August, the Bearcats were projected to face Auburn in the BBVA Compass Bowl. As a result, Connecticut (No. 5) moved up to face the Tigers.

The top three teams in the conference remained unchanged. As the predicted conference champion, Louisville is projected to face Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, and South Florida, the predicted No. 2 team in the Big East, is projected to appear in the Russell Athletic Bowl against Clemson. Rutgers, the predicted No. 3 seed from the conference, is projected to play Virginia in the Belk Bowl.
