"Ho's", "thugs", "blondes" and "Pollocks"

With all this Imus stuff all over the radio I have a few questions...

1.) Does the University of Cincinnati BBall teams of the past have cases against the 100's of radio guys and TV guys that classified them all as "Thugs"? Isn't this a racially oriented comment like stereotyping black women as "ho's"? Guess they could go after monica too because she said they all could get into trouble?

2.) Can all the Blondes in the world call the ACLU and file a suit for all the derogatory comments about them? Just like "nappy haired women"?

3.) Can I as a polish decendent sue anyone for all the "Pollock" jokes that are accepted across the nation?

I've always thought 'Thugs' was a compliment when used by non-Cincinnati fans. Seriously. Thats the way I use the term.

Thug - adj. ('thug') Used to describe someone who has no fear as compared to his opponent. Someone physically strong and not afraid to challenge others on a field of play.

Is Imus even on a Cincinnati area radio station?
I've never heard the show and think he controversy is for controvery's sake.
If this had occurred 20 years ago, the controversy would have no legs.

LOL... I know, it just drive me crazy how PC everyone is, and how everyone is on him... comments are made all the time..

People weren't using it in this way.. I'm certain "Thuggins" wasn't a compliment

there are some things I agree with for example, I can't even let the "n" word pass through my lips in any way, and if I hear people say it my opinion of them drops to about a 1 out of 10, and I always tell them not to use it around me. But that word has tons of history etc to it... now we are creating all kinds of stuff about other words that really aren't that big of a deal.

Imus was let go today by CBS. I predict that he will have a XM or Serius show making more money soon.

I don't know how I'll start my day now. I've gotten used to rolling on the floor watching Imus. Oh well, he'll turn up somewhere (if he doesn't just retire).
