Default Iverson w/Max

The Nuggets get Antonio McDyess, thus maybe making room for Maxiell to start?

Max should start. I think he was playing behind McDyess.

Terrible deal for the Pistons. Trading their best player (plus another good player) for one of the most overrated players in the league.

Amir Johnson is expected to get significantly more playing time this year and will probably start along with Rasheed Wallace. Max will be the first big man off the bench, if I had to guess.

I think Nuggets will be good with Chauncey Billups, Carmelo, Kenyon (who has looked good so far) and Nene.

Pistons may benefit, though, it is hard to see it up front. AI, Tayshaun, Rip, and Wallace is good (I especially like AI and Rasheed), and Maxiell will definitely be the 6th or 7th man.

Evidently Iverson deal is part of a plan to get LeBron.

A nice tidbit from the article: The Pistons president believes that the young guard Rodney Stuckey, a brilliant pick out of Eastern Washington, can take over the Pistons next year. Iverson and Rasheed Wallace could leave the payroll this summer, and the Pistons will be $22 million under the salary cap in 2009. They will have a core of Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Stuckey, Jason Maxiell and Amir Johnson in 2010.

Stuckey is supposed to be good, though I'm not sure he's going to be ready this year. I'm also not sure Hamilton is really part of the long term core of the team, but they'll be able to make a run at someone like LeBron (though he's pretty unlikely to come to Detroit) or Bosh.

It's been mentioned on TV here in the Denver markets that the Nuggets will release McDyess and he'll eventually re-sign with Detroit.

I'll be surprised in LeBron isn't at NJ or NY.

I don't think he wants to be searching for a title at the end of his career. Jordan did okay becoming a superstar in Chicago, and while Chicago is better than Detroit, it's no NY or LA.
