This is for a little bit more than UC's - and by a little I mean a whole lot.
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...707110406/1054 Included: U-M announced the eight-year agreement Tuesday. The deal is worth $7.5 million per year and is to begin with the 2008-09 season. There is a "most favored nation" clause in the contract that will keep Michigan as Adidas' top college deal. Adidas already has deals with Notre Dame, UCLA, Tennessee, Indiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin, as well as an exclusive deal with the NBA.

Adidas is hardly small potatoes and can certainly hold its own against UC's former apparel partner, Nike. Adidas already has deals with Notre Dame, UCLA, Tennessee, Indiana, Nebraska and Wisconsin, as well as an exclusive deal with the NBA.

Trivia: Adidas (pron. AH-dee-DAHS, not ah-DEE-duhs) started by Dassler brothers in Herzogenaurach, Germany. One brother left in 1948 and started Puma. Both still HQ there. The story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5055542.stm
