Marquette is very good. The 2-5 Big East record is deceiving. Their Big East schedule was front loaded. Two 2 point losses to Villanova, 1 point loss at WVU, 5 point loss at Syracuse lead most of game.

I seen the same thing and Marquette and UC could be tied in the standings when they play each other. I'm starting to be impressed by that Buzz guy. Got the team playing really hard plus he's got a big recruiting class coming in. I have to give you credit for trying to keep expections on Mick low, so fans won't be so upset when he doesn't come through. I just can't figure out what keeping Mick around a little longer does for you.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about you. Isn't it about time for another sabbatical?

Since you insist, once again, Mick has done an amazing job in rebuilding the Bearcats. Lance is here because of Mick. Teague is on his way in a couple of years. In 5 more years Mick will have UC going to the NCAA most every year. Get rid of Mick UC sets itself back another 5 years with a new 5 year rebuilding program and then when that coach fails another new coach and another 5 year rebuilding program, the rebuilding will never end. For those who want to fire Mick, Dirty Harry would say "do you feel lucky today?"

I've got to hang around and see if you ever make a post about the basketball team instead of some smart remark to a UC fan.

I think you've got to chalk WVU game up as a W. For some reason, Cronin has Huggins' number.

Who cares. It is national attention. UC's basketball program needs attention in just about any way it can get it.

I am a new poster to this board and I agree that 17-13 or 16-14 is where we will end up, sad to say. This team just doesnt have any fire and the rest of the schedule is tough. The South Fla. game is also a game the Cats will have hard time winning. Sorry to say its NIT this year. CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it wasn't for the worst case of home cooking every game, I'd say that ND game should be a W. I'm with you on the prediction, 17-18 wins.

I see 8 more L's on the way, yes even at USF like last year. I don't think they will win another road game the rest of the year and will also lose to Marquette and Syracuse at home.

I look for 2-8 finish to the year.

Either way this team is NIT bound. Losing to Seton Hall is killer because they beat UC and are beating teams UC is losing 2.

If we finish with 16 wins, I don't think we're NIT bound. Sadly. Man, I sure hope I'm wrong about my prediction. I want Mick to succeed, and for that to happen I really feel like he has to get this team in the tourny. Because next year, as I've posted before, Vaughn will be gone, and Lance may likely be gone, and I don't see us being any better than we are this year.

I still think we will finish with 19 wins and be in the dance. We've had some nice quality wins that will help get us in with 18-20 total wins....unless we lose to Depaul again in the 1st round of the tourney.

Is it really necessary to make a new thread predicting our record after each game? Why not just add or amend a post in another thread?

Doesn't bother me any. Not like I have to pay to read a new thread.

I agree that we don't win another road game the rest of the year. This team just doesn't have it in them.....unfortunately. The St johns loss is the real killer, IMO.
