Default D'Angelo Roberts (2011 RB)

From The Herald-Times (Bloomington, Ind.):

North running back D’Angelo Roberts said the Bearcats’ coaching staff called North coach Scott Bless to formally tender Roberts a scholarship.

Cincinnati, which went 12-0 during the regular season before being blown out by Florida in the Sugar Bowl, is the fourth school to offer Roberts a scholarship.

Indiana, Western Kentucky and Ball State have also offered.

The Bearcats are now led by former Central Michigan coach Butch Jones.

“I don’t know too much about the program, but I am going to go down there for a visit,” Roberts said. “I know they just came from a BCS bowl game, so that’s definitely something to look forward to.”

Roberts ran for 2,604 yards and 32 touchdowns as a junior.

Roberts has gotten some solid interest from Florida and just took an unofficial there:

Here's his junior season highlight film. Kid looks like a player. I'll take him and if he has any buddies that can play RB I'd take them as well.
