Default Opponents?

I recently saw that our little brothers across town released their out of conference home opponents for next season. Any one know when we will be releasing who we are going to play? I sure hope there is a big name on there to help get some crowds early in the year. So far the only one I know is UD downtown.

UC is looking for one home game to complete its out of conference schedule.
At 2 MAC teams? WHY? I understand the Miami "rivalry" thing, but Toledo?

It's good in that it will be a 'gimme' road game early on in the season, but it's bad in that Toledo is expected to be horrible again and won't help the RPI at all.

I do not have issues with two mac teams as long as they are least a 2 for 1 deal. But until we consistently make the NCAA, I do not think that UC is in the position to negotiate that.

A bit of an update:

November 20 - Florida A&M
November 27 - Dayton
December 1 - Wright State
December 4 - at Toledo
December 18 - at Oklahoma
December 21 - at Miami

This leaves XU, Mt. St. Mary's, and UALR that we know. Also, Savannah State is coming to UD and it sounded like they were going to be a part of the tournament that has us playing UD so I think we will see them at FTA in late Novemeber. If I were to guess, I'd say that the Shootout will be a few days before the Oklahoma game.

Oklahoma lost a ton, right? Tiny Gallon and Willie Warren both went pro, right?

The BEast will not release the full schedule because so many teams share arenas with the NBA and NHL. Those teams have to schedule first and then the BEast schedules.

Awesome, I should be able to finally attend my first Crosstown Shootout this year!

Interesting that this game is in January (though with Butler, Wake and Gonzaga in December it makes sense for X), purely on the fact that this rivalry seems to change every few years -- February, then November, then December and now back to once conference play has started.

Most importantly, it's on ESPN2.
